This projects was aided in the fact that I got myself a new soldering iron. That being said, I found this old radio at the flea market for $8 and it was in pretty good working order. So with a bit of rewiring and mucking I turned it into a small practice amp. Aside from looking cool these little radios make awesome low watt practice amps because of how unique and diverse they sound. One would almost think this just came off the 1970's JC Penny's self. 

I unattached the AM channel to use it as a clean channel or main amp (its easily rewired and no damage was done to the radio itself.) But I left the FM channels open so that I could use it as an amp with the radio still on. Below are a few audio examples that I am sure were more fun to play (after a few glasses of wine) then they are to listen to.
